From Rishabh to Suryakumar: BCCI releases names of best players of 2022

On the final day of 2022, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Saturday launched the names of the players who have been Team India’s best performers in all three codecs of the sport this 12 months.
As per BCCI, wicket-keeper batter Rishabh Pant and quick bowler Jasprit Bumrah have been prime performers for India in Test cricket.

Pant scored 680 runs in seven matches at a median of 61.81 and his highest rating was 146 runs whereas Bumrah took 22 wickets in 5 matches.
In the ODI format, Shreyas Iyer was adjudged the best batter whereas Mohammed Siraj was the best bowler. Iyer scored 724 runs in 17 matches with the best rating of 113 not out whereas Siraj took 24 wickets in 15 matches within the 50-over format.

Meanwhile, Suryakumar Yadav was adjudged the best batter in T20 format after his very good performances within the T20 World Cup in addition to numerous bilateral collection and Bhuvneshwar Kumar was termed because the best bowler.
Suryakumar scored 1164 runs in 31 matches with the best rating of 117 whereas Bhuvneshwar picked up 37 wickets in 32 matches.

The Indian cricket crew will start the 2023 with the house collection towards Sri Lanka, comprising three T20Is and as many ODIs, starting on January 3.
