Adidas’ MLS One Planet jersey unveiled for Earth Day

With the 2023 Major League Soccer season nicely underway, MLS and Adidas have partnered for a launch of special-edition kits to be worn by each crew this weekend to mark Earth Day on April 22.

The designs for the jerseys draw inspiration from the ocean ground and are manufactured from plastic waste in an effort to make the league extra sustainable.

A trigger that MLS has supported every year since 2017, this 12 months’s One Planet package reveals are an homage to vibrant aquatic life, coastal communities and the significance of defending them.

The Parley Ocean plastic used to make the jerseys was collected from distant islands and seashores earlier than it made it out into the open ocean.
