U.S. hold top spot in FIFA rankings ahead of Women’s World Cup

Holders United States will head into subsequent month’s Women’s World Cup because the top-ranked staff, with no modifications in the top 5 in the most recent FIFA rankings revealed on Friday.

The U.S., who’ve held the top spot since June 2017, proceed to guide ahead of Germany, Sweden, European champions England and France, respectively.

Spain equalled their best-ever rating after high-scoring wins over Norway and China in April whereas Copa America Femenina champions Brazil earned a powerful victory over Germany.

World Cup co-hosts Australia and New Zealand are tenth and twenty sixth. Debutants Zambia would be the lowest-ranked staff in the match at 77th.

The World Cup runs from July 20 to Aug. 20.
